Australian Rotary Health

Australian Rotary Health (ARH) is a registered charity wholly owned and managed by Rotary in Australia. It is Rotary’s largest nationwide community service activity and one of the largest non-Government bodies funding health research in the country. The role of AHR is to invest money raised through donations from Rotary Clubs, individual Rotarians and funding partners for community health research not currently funded from government sources.

Mental Health of Young Australians
Australian Rotary Health provides grants for research relating to the mental health of young Australians for up to three years per project.

Ian Scott Scholarship
Named after the founder of Australian Rotary Health, Ian Scott. Scholarships provide financial support to PhD students conducting research into mental health.

ANZAC PhD Scholarship
Australian Rotary Health financially support a PhD student undertaking research within mental health, with specific focus on the post–traumatic effects from war.

Post Doctoral Fellowships
Australian Rotary Health offers three fellowships to early career researchers in the area of mental health. They are the Royce Abbey, Colin Dodds and Geoffrey Betts Post-doctoral Fellowships. Research relating to the prevention of mental health issues.
